Overdue Fines
Some items accrue overdue fines including Course Reserves, The Library of Things Collection, and devices.
Replacement Cost for Lost Materials
Items with a 28 or 14 day loan period do not accrue overdue fines, but the borrower is responsible for the cost of a replacement if the item is lost.
- The replacement cost for the lost materials is the retail value of the item at the time of purchase
- Other replacement options may be available at the discretion of the Library Department Chair or their designee.
Suspension of Borrowing Privileges
The system is designed to block patrons with more than $50 in fines from checking out new items.
